This heart memorial glass incorporates a beautiful gold "heart and paw print" design to symbolize the paw prints they leave on our hearts when it's time to say goodbye to our beloved companions.
 
Customize this design in the colors of your beloved pet's fur or a special jewel tone to create a beautiful and everlasting memorial.
 
If desired, cremains can be included in this design.  A Collection Kit will be provided to collect approximately a teaspoon of cremains. Only a small amount collected will be used, as the glass can only tolerate a dusting between layers.  Any cremains not used will be returned with finished memorial items.
 
Each heart is created by casting crushed glass in a mold and firing to temperatures of approx. 1465F creating the colored heart shape. The gold "heart and paw prints" design is achieved through a second kiln firing and forever becomes part of the glass in the high temperatures of the kiln.  It will not fade, chip or scratch.
 
From design stage to finished product, these memorial pieces are fired individually and take approximately 30 hours to complete through 2 kiln firings.
 
NOTE: Since each heart is assembled by hand using crushed glass, actual finished appearance may differ slightly from photos shown. I always do my best to ensure that all pieces are as close to the samples as possible.
 
My pieces are all cut by hand and kiln-fired in my home studio. They are all very precious to me so I will package them with care to ensure they arrive safely to you.
