WHOLESALE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Thank you for your interest in wholesale purchases of my fused glass products.

WHOLESALE ACCOUNT ELIGIBILITY

 

Wholesale is available to those that own a retail store.  Only those that re-sell items are eligible for wholesale pricing.  Confirmation of a business address is required for all wholesale purchases.

 

Haven Glass Studio reserves the right to cancel any wholesale purchase made by a non-approved vendor.

1. BATCH QUANTITIES

​​

Since all raw material fusing glass is purchased in square foot sections and cut by hand, in order to minimize wasted materials from off-cuts, my wholesale collection has been specifically measured and designed with this in mind.  Therefore, minimum batch quantities have been established for each individual design in order to not only minimize waste, but to also operate the kiln efficiently by using the full shelf space available for each kiln load, as designs often fire at different temperatures and cannot be combined.  Minimum order values are subject to change without notice.​

Each product specifies if it is available as a wholesale design.  If a product is available as wholesale, it will have a separate batch option available to add to the cart in certain quantities, depending on design, and will be shown as the last color option (denoted with a black dot) or with "wholesale" in the description.

 

NOTE: Select "Wholesale - Pack of..." batch option only when adding wholesale product to the cart for discount to be applied.

2. ​​​WHOLESALE PRICING

​

All product pricing is listed in CAD dollars and does not include shipping and handling costs. Wholesale accounts will receive between 30% to 50% off the MSRP. Prices and automatic discount schedule are subject to change without notice.

 

Please see below for wholesale discount schedule. The discount will automatically be applied in the cart and at the checkout to any product eligible for wholesale pricing:

 

WHOLESALE AUTOMATIC DISCOUNT SCHEDULE

​30% discount - $349.99 minimum order

​40% discount - $749.99 minimum order

50% discount - $999.99 minimum order and above​

3. MY HAVEN REWARDS LOYALTY POINTS

When signing up as a member to the Haven Glass Studio website, each purchase will earn My Haven Rewards points* (details on the loyalty program can be found here).

*Please note that My Haven Rewards discounts cannot be combined with automatic wholesale discounts, but can be enjoyed on any non-wholesale purchase once enough points have been earned for a reward.

4. MSRP

The MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) is the price indicated on each product listing on my website prior to any discount applied. Retailers are encouraged to sell at the MSRP, as sales have been proven at each price point, however the retail price will be at the discretion of each individual Wholesale Account.

5. HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER

​

  • ONLINE

​

  1. Contact Haven Glass Studio to verify eligibility to become a Wholesale Customer (see "Wholesale Customer Eligibility" requirement above.

  2. Visit the 'Shop' tab to view current products.

  3. Lead times are current on each individual listing, but can be between 2 to 6 weeks from date of order at any given time, depending on current orders.

  4. Discount code is automatically applied in the cart and at checkout.

6. PAYMENT

​

  • ONLINE:

 

Payable in full at time of order, including applicable shipping and handling charges.

​

Payment is accepted by:

- ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS, APPLE PAY  or PAYPAL

​​​

Taxes, including GST/HST, are currently not applicable.

​

As a one-individual artisan operation, I am unable to offer credit terms at this time.

​

Order will be shipped once full payment, including shipping and handling charges, has been received.

​

7. CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES

All of the items in my collection are meticulously created by hand from sheets of glass and cut to specifications of each design.  With limited glass inventory on hand, glass and materials are purchased by the number of items ordered.  

 

Cancellations are subject to the following:

​

  • Glass Not Ordered, No Work Commenced: 100% of order refunded

  • Glass On Order, No Work Commenced: 50% of order refunded

  • Glass Received, Work Commenced: Order not refundable

​

Changes cannot be made once glass and materials have been ordered and/or work on an order has commenced.  At the discretion of Haven Glass Studio, should a change be requested, Wholesale Account may be subject to additional fees for glass, material and labor costs incurred.

​

8. SHIPPING & HANDLING

Shipping charges are not included in the cost of goods.  Shipping will be charged on all orders based on current carrier rates and total estimated weight of order and will be added at time of checkout.

 

Shipping Overage Refund: If actual parcel weight and/or dimensions vary from the estimated values, a shipping overage refund will be issued at time of shipping and be applied to the payment option used at checkout.

 

All shipments will be sent using a tracked service and tracking information will be provided at time of shipping.

The shipping carrier will be selected at the discretion of Haven Glass Studio.

​

Shipping carrier selection and details:

​

  • Canadian Orders: Canada Post or UPS Standard 

  • US Orders: Canada Post or UPS Standard

  • Local Orders: Please inquire about local pick up ordering, directions will be provided to my local warehousing location, otherwise orders will arrive via local courier service to ensure prompt delivery

Due to potential customs and shipping complications, I do not currently ship outside of Canada and the United States.

 

All sales are considered to be complete at the point of shipping.  Haven Glass Studio shall use all reasonable efforts to ensure products are delivered to the customer by specified delivery dates, but shall in no event be liable, nor offer refunds for:

​

  • delayed shipping times (due to weather-related events, COVID and/or shipping carrier delays)

  • misplaced, lost or stolen items once items are in the possession of the shipping carrier

  • if tracking information confirms that the shipment has been delivered

​

Drop shipping is not available at this time, however please notify me if this is a preference and we can discuss in further detail.

 

My collection has been designed to be very durable and endure shipping to distances near and far.  My pieces are created with great time, care and attention and each order is carefully inspected once complete to ensure each item is free from damage or defect prior to shipping.  Each individual item, or batch of items, will be secured in foam roll or bubble wrap and shipped in rigid boxes to ensure safe delivery.

Please note that some items will be shipped disassembled (i.e. items with wood bases) and must be assembled upon receipt of product to avoid damage during shipping.

9. BORDER & CUSTOMS FOR U.S. ORDERS

Haven Glass Studio cannot estimate how long it may take for your order to clear Customs. Your patience is appreciated as your order makes its way to you.  If it has been longer than 30 days from the shipping date and your order has not arrived, please contact Haven Glass Studio and I'll do my best to help track down your package by opening a service ticket with the carrier.  U.S. orders will always include completed Customs Declaration forms.

Please note, since Customs is its own entity, from the moment a package arrives at Customs, and for the duration of the time it remains there, those may not be counted as delivery 'business days'.  Business day tracking will begin again once the package is released and out for delivery in the destination country. 

​

U.S. Orders: Customs charges for duties and/or taxes may be applicable on your purchase and may be charged separately to you after your item(s) are delivered.

​

10. LEAD TIME

​

All product is cut by hand and glass ordered from out-of-province suppliers. Please see order lead times below:

NON-HOLIDAY PRODUCT

​

Orders accepted: January 1 - October 31

​

Please allow 4 - 6 weeks from date of order for product to be ready for shipping.  Large orders may require more time.  Lead times will be provided based on each individual order and will be dependent on how many orders are currently in the queue.

HOLIDAY PRODUCT

​

Order accepted: January 1 - September 15*

​

Haven Glass Studio endeavors to have all Christmas products ready to ship no later than mid-October to early November each year for holiday merchandising.

 

*Orders received after September 15 cannot be guaranteed to ship for holiday merchandising.

 

Please allow 4 - 6 weeks from date of order for product to be ready for shipping. Larger orders may require more time. Lead times will be provided based on each individual order and will be dependent on how many orders are currently in the queue.

11. RETURNS & REFUNDS

With a 99.9% successful shipping rate, every item is packed with the utmost care, using durable packing materials and proven packing methods to ensure the safe delivery of your items. Each parcel meets my rigid standards and is 100% intact when I transfer it to the shipping carrier.

 

While glass cannot be insured, returns or refunds will be considered on a case by case basis.

Please contact Haven Glass Studio for further details of return consideration guidelines. Return shipping will be at the buyer's expense.

 

Glass may break if dropped, so please handle with care once you've received your item(s), as a refund will not be offered in this case.

12. BACKORDERS

Although I’ve designed my wholesale collection with regularly available glass colors in mind, occasionally the glass suppliers I use may be out of stock on certain colors.  In this instance, details will be communicated to the Wholesale Account.  A backorder date will be provided to the best of my ability based on information from my suppliers, and I will work diligently to create backordered items in a timely manner.

13. BRANDING/PACKAGING

All product will be labeled with the Haven Glass Studio logo.

​

In my experience, for customers to get the full tactile experience of my glass pieces, people prefer to handle the glass, which is why my products are very rarely sold in any type of packaging.  While not standard throughout the collection, some items may include a decorative keepsake box or clear poly bag for hanging.  If this is something that you would prefer for your own merchandising, please let me know and I will do my best to offer a suitable option.

14. PRODUCT DESIGN

While some of my products are exclusively designed and created for my Wholesale Collection, Haven Glass Studio reserves the right to sell any product as both retail and/or wholesale at any given time.

15. EXCLUSIVITY

I do not offer exclusivity unless specified in a signed contract for designs or items created specifically for that client.

​

16. PHOTOS FOR PROMOTION

If the buyer would like to use some of my photos for promotional purposes, please contact me.  Appropriate credit is required.

17. PERSONAL INFORMATION

Shipping and billing information, including address and all other contact information will only be used in the following manner:

  • to communicate with you about your order

  • to fulfill your order

  • for legal reasons (i.e. tax purposes)
