SHIPPING

In stock items will ship within 1-3 business days via Canada Post or UPS service.  Shipping carrier will be selected at the discretion of Haven Glass Studio.

 

Made to order items are typically ready to ship in 5-7 business days from date or order.  Volume orders may take up to 21 days depending on quantity ordered and sheet glass inventory. I will provide a lead time for each individual volume order.

All sales are considered to be complete at the point of shipping.  Haven Glass Studio shall use all reasonable efforts to ensure products are delivered to the customer by specified delivery dates, but shall in no event be liable, nor offer refunds for:

​

  • delayed shipping times (including, but not limited to: normal course of business, COVID pandemic and/or USPS postal delays)

  • misplaced, lost or stolen items once items are in the possession of the shipping carrier

  • if tracking information confirms that the shipment has been delivered

​

Shipping charges are not included in the cost of goods.  Shipping will be charged on all orders at a flat rate (based on current carrier rates and total price of order) and will be added at time of checkout.  If actual parcel weight and/or dimensions vary from the estimated values, a shipping overage refund will be issued at time of shipping and be applied to the payment option used at checkout.

All shipping services will include tracking, with the exception of Canada Post Standard Letter Mail and Small Packet Air/Surface.

​

Due to potential customs and shipping complications, I do not currently ship outside of Canada and the United States.

HANGING ORNAMENT SHIPPING

Quantity of one (1) hanging ornament is eligible for Letter Mail shipping (no tracking, bubble mailer) with an option to upgrade to tracked Expedited service.

*Quantities of 2+ hanging ornaments must be shipped with Expedited parcel service (with tracking, in a box) due to larger package dimensions not eligible for standard Letter Mail.

PACKAGING

My pieces are created with great time, care and attention and each order is carefully inspected once complete to ensure each item is free from damage or defect prior to shipping.

 

Glass cannot be insured, therefore I make every effort to package it as well as possible to ensure safe delivery. 

​

Please note that some items will be shipped disassembled (i.e. items with wood bases) and must be assembled upon receipt of product to avoid damage during shipping.

​

SMALL ITEMS (Ornaments): Individually wrapped in foam or bubble sheets, then packaged in bubble envelopes (letter mail) or boxes (Expedited parcel).

LARGER ITEMS (Plates, Bowls, etc.): Individually wrapped in foam or bubble sheets, then packaged in boxes and secured with foam pellets, newsprint or packing paper.  Large items will be double-boxed, with each individual item secured in foam roll or bubble wrap and again, secured with foam pellets, newsprint or packing paper.

BORDER & CUSTOMS INFORMATION FOR U.S. ORDERS

Since I cannot estimate how long it may take for your package to clear Customs, please be patient as your items make their way to you.  

 

If it has been longer than 30 days from the shipping date and you have not yet received your order, please contact me and I'll do my best to help track down your package by opening a service ticket with Canada Post.  Parcels always include completed Customs Declaration forms.

Please note, since Customs is its own entity, from the moment a package arrives at Customs, and for the duration of the time it remains there, those are not counted as delivery 'business days'. Business day tracking will begin again once the package is released and out for delivery in the destination country. 

​

Please Note: Customs charges for duties and/or taxes may be applicable on your purchase and may be charged separately to you after your item(s) are delivered.
