"MAKE-AT-HOME" GLASS FUSING KIT
DESIGN: Create Your Own Lantern
LANTERN SIZE: 11"H x 6"L x 5.5"W
A selection of small, medium and large transparent and solidglass pieces, crushed glass, prefired dots and other accessory glass in your chosen color palette will be provided to create your own design for this lantern.
Kit supplies are to create front panel glass only; sides and back remain original clear glass.
NOTE: Finished lantern as shown in listing is a sample only to provide design inspiration.
Get creative with "Make-At-Home" Glass Fusing Kits!
Complete instructions can be found in each Glass Fusing Kit, but here's how it works:
1. Purchase a "Make-At-Home" Glass Fusing Kit from my online store, and choose the "Local Pick Up" option at checkout*
*Kits are not suitable for shipping, so once completed they can be dropped off in person at my studio in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada.
2. Once you’re ready to begin your project, reserve your kiln shelf space by registering your kit online
using the included Fusing Kit ID.
3. Get creative! Complete assembly instructions, safety PPE and all the glass materials you'll need are in the box, including tools and glue to stick it all together! Estimated project time: 30 to 60 minutes

5. Once assembly of your project is complete, let glue dry for at least 24 hours.
6. Return Glass Fusing Kit to my studio.
I’m always looking for ways to reduce my environmental footprint, so please include the completed glass project, all original packaging, any left-over glass**, safety glasses, plastic containers, and box, as everything will be re-used or recycled!
7. Once received at my studio, your project is fired in the glass kiln. After it's cooled from the kiln, it will be packaged up and an email will be sent for pick up at my studio!

**NOTE: To ensure that there is enough glass to complete each project (with a variety of colors and pieces for "Create Your Own" designs), each kit contains a bit of extra glass at no additional charge. Please be sure to return any unused glass with the kit upon return to my studio. Thank you!

Safety Statement
Glass Fusing Kits being assembled at home are suitable for adults aged 18+, as the glass must be handled with care.
Not recommended for children under 18 years old. Glass can be hazardous without the use of proper PPE (i.e. eye injuries from flying particles, cuts from sharp edges, exposure to dust inhalation from crushed glass). To avoid injury, safety glasses, gloves and masks have been provided in this Glass Fusing Kit. In addition, long pants and closed-toed shoes are also recommended.
Haven Glass Studio assumes no responsibility if the included PPE is not worn or worn properly. Children must be kept at a safe distance away from all included glass materials and supervised at all times.
